On this episode of “Your Voice”, John sits down with James Cabler, who is Director of Business Engagement at Onward New River Valley. The main focus of Onward NRV is to create economic success for the New River Valley. To do this, Onward is constructing their five-year strategy called Onward 2023 as well as promoting the area as a top place to live and work. They support four key industries including Information Technology, Unmanned Systems, food processing & agribusiness, and advanced manufacturing.
James began in the banking industry after graduating from Radford University in 2006 before ending up at Onward NRV in his current position. Many great insights including his fear of spiders and why he feels that his parents are the definition of success.
